Most people are aware of the word Bodacious “commonly defined as meaning variously blatant, audacious, impressive, remarkable or attractive.“
The word Boldacious (the name of my business) is thought to be the original spelling and was probably “was probably an amalgam of bold and audacious” from the early 1800s.
I love this older word and its meaning, and get mildly :? miffed when people confuse the 2 words, even though the bodacious version is in most dictionaries, while boldacious is still quite rare.
