I work with, consult and coach about, remote work software.

I prefer to use and recommend software that:

• is platform independent
• has an exit plan for your data
• has some sort of roadmap for the future if possible
• is transparent
• “plays well with others” ie has the ability to connect with other software either natively or via Zapier, IFTT or Integromat

This is using one of my top software favourites – Airtable – which “Looks Like A Spreadsheet | Acts Like A Database‎”. Airtable is a fantastic example of a simple user interface for very complex software.
