I had read an excellent article about building a Community Isolation Support database. The author used Airtable as the database, and I was inspired!
I downloaded the Airtable and commenced building a website for the public-facing side.
At this stage Startup Tablelands came to the rescue, so we decided to build this initiative under the auspices of Startup Tablelands.
A local woman, Bree Hargreaves, had also started a very popular Facebook site called “Tablelands Unite – Helping each other through COVID-19“, so we teamed up with her.
Both the Facebook group and the website were designed to allow people to offer assistance and ask for help during the Coronavirus time.
After a lot of work (far more than I had originally thought ?) Val Cozens and I built the Tablelands Unite Together website.

As COVID kept going other options became available and late 2020 we retired the site.
